Pivot & Thrive Pilates

Pivot & Thrive Pilates is a private Pilates practice started by Heather in 2016 and located in Glastonbury, CT.  The studio is fully equipped with all Pilates apparatus along with many cross-training tools to address all needs. Each client is analyzed to identify imbalances and determine the best approach to improve the individual’s quality of life.  Continued post injury rehab is also available, along with communication with any healthcare professionals you are currently working with. Heather primarily considers herself a movement educator...whether looking to enhance your sports performance, improve your health and well-being, prevent future injuries, or rehabilitate from current ones, she can help.

Position First Dance Conditioning

Position First Dance Conditioning provides educational seminars on dance conditioning and injury prevention for all styles of dance.  We offer interactive workshops for students and professional development for staff.  Our mission is to educate students on how to properly use their bodies to maximize efficiency, prevent injury, facilitate kinesthetic awareness, and optimize performance. Our seminars allow dancers to interpret and apply commonly heard classroom corrections and truly understand the biomechanical concepts beyond the steps.
